The Senior Mechanical Engineer I provides engineering technical support for all aspects of the life of hydro and fossil electric generating stations, as well as transmission assets and facilities, from the engineering and design, fabrication and construction, operation and maintenance, to the decommissioning and deconstruction. Engineering responsibilities include inspections, condition assessments, computer modeling, hand or computer-based analysis, startup and testing technical support, troubleshooting, calculations, design, development of detailed fabrication/construction packages, inter-discipline and inter-department coordination, and construction and outage support for mechanical systems and equipment.
